Accepting the proposal of the filmmaker Roberto Aldave, embodied in his latest Documentary “Cesar Vallejo, the Poet of the Bicentennial”, the La Libertad Region, the Municipality of Santiago de Chuco, and the National University of Trujillo, declared to “César Abraham Vallejo Mendoza, the Poet of the Bicentennial ”.
The documentary by the filmmaker recently awarded by the Ministry of Culture as “Meritorious Personality of Culture”, will be released in the coming days and has the endorsement of the aforementioned institutions as well as the direct relatives of Vallejo, who have taken the respective steps to obtain the aforementioned denomination that exalts them for being Santiago de Chuco located in the La Libertad Region the place where he was born and the University of Trujillo where the universal vate continued his higher studies.
For the production and realization of the aforementioned documentary, Aldave has collected testimonies and documents from researchers and scholars of the life and work of César Vallejo, many times treated in books, Documentaries, Exhibitions, Forums, etc., as well as from direct relatives of the poet, who have welcomed this proposal with approval and expectation, since the language and dynamics of the documentaries produced by the Ancashino documentary maker have a particular stamp.
