Day 01: CUSCO- SANTA TERESA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES
Meeting place at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco (in front of the McDonald 7:00 Am. – 7:10 Am.). Then we will begin our trip on bus (Printer of 15 to 19 passengers). We will be observing the beautiful scenery on the way to the eyebrow of the jungle until we get to the village of hidroeléctrica. This is the place where our vehicles will leave us (at the Sakura terminal – our place of transportation). At this place we will also have a one-hour lunch. After lunch, we will continue on the road for 11 kilometers. Average time of the hike is (3 hours). All of the hike is take alongside a train track until we get to Aguas Calientes at about 5pm.
7:00 Pm. We have dinner with the guide.
We will spend the night in Aguas Calientes.
Day 02: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU
Very early in the morning, at about 4:30am we will begin our hike to Machu Picchu. Here you will have a tour guide for more than 2 hours. After that you will have free time to stay in Machupicchu. After you have taken pictures and videos of Machu Picchu, we should return to hidroeléctrica on a hike of 2:30 minutes. There will be a bus waiting from 2pm-2:30pm. Finally we will take the bus to return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 9pm.
OPTIONAL: You can take a train from Aguas Calientes to Hidroeléctrica for $29 dollars. (On your own account).
